People’s Choice All Decades Lincoln Car Show to Highlight Lincoln Homecoming Event

The 2018 Homecoming is being hosted by the Lincoln-Zephyr Owners Club and all four Lincoln clubs — Road Race Lincoln Register, Lincoln Continental Owners Club and the Lincoln Owners Club—are invited to attend. Any Lincoln owner who is not a club member is also encouraged to register and attend this event. The 1936- 1948 V-12 Lincoln-Zephyr plus pre and post-war Lincolns will be featured.

The week begins in Aug 6 in Elkhart, Indiana. (see Homecoming Part 1 calendar item) On Friday, August 10, we tour to Kalamazoo to enjoy our Fifth Lincoln Homecoming at Hickory Corners on Saturday and Sunday. We will have a People’s Choice All Decades Lincoln car show on Saturday, August 11, for all Lincolns. It is an exhibition show only with no point judging. The presentation of People’s Choice awards will be Sunday, August 12, featuring awrds for each decade–the 1920s through the 2000s; Best of Show and First, Second and Third Places will be awarded for each decade.

Friday evening festivities take place at Four Points Sheraton Kalamazoo our host hotel, beginning with a happy hour followed by a buffet and then a lively Lincoln parts auction.

This year at Hickory Corners we will again feature a Saturday 2018 People’s Choice All Decades Lincoln Car Show(non judged), a Lincoln car auction, Lincoln swap meet, Lincoln car corral area and Lincoln Museum dedications. Then on Sunday a Lincoln car display by the Lincoln Motor Car Museum, Lincoln swap meet, Lincoln car corral area and awards for All Decades Lincoln car show held on Saturday..

Our host hotel in Kalamazoo is the Four Points Kalamazoo by Sheraton, 3600 E Cork Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49001. This hotel offers excellent accommodations, fine dining and is in the process of refurbishing all hotel rooms. The hotel is just over 15 miles from Hickory Corners.
