Do you long for life before ZIP Codes or when Studebakers were still being built? Then your memory extends past 1963 when ZIPs and Beatlemania began, Studebaker production ended and astronaut Gordon Copper flew the last Project Mercury mission. But for one day at least here’s a chance to awaken your inner ’60s time warp at a fun event this September.
The Lincoln and Continental Owner’s Club – Western Region is cordially invited to attend the Savanna High School’s (Anaheim, CA) 55th Reunion Car Show at the Brea Mall, Brea, presented by the first graduating class of Savanna High School, on Saturday, September 29, 2018. The exact location in “the second largest mall in Orange County” will be on the top level of a parking structure nearest Birch St. (north end of the Mall, just west of State College Blvd.) between Penney’s and Macy’s and closest to the Embassy Suites.
No pre-registration required; just show up. Come at 8 a.m. for car placement, coffee and doughnuts. A “guest participant” trophy will be awarded to the favorite guest’s car by “people’s choice” balloting. Members may contact Marv Wendt for additional information. I can hear that Beatles music already!
