Following an LCOC Western Region tradition our club will hold its annual pre-Valentine’s Day Kickoff Car Show and Brunch on Sunday Feb 9. Once again the LCOC Western Region is teaming up with the Cadillac and LaSalle Club to sponsor the event at the Lakewood Country Club in Lakewood, CA. Here’s your chance to break bread with your friends from LCOC while making new ones from the Cadillac and LaSalle Club. Reservations must be submitted by Jan 21.
The day will begin at 9 a.m. with tire kicking and socializing at the country club prior to a fantastic buffet brunch and a presentation by LCOC’s own Bazil LaRoche. Bazil and his partner Russell Harmon are among the newest of LCOC Western Region members. Despite their youth, both are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about our favorite hobby and are hands on, doing their own work on on several vintage cars, including Lincolns. You won’t want to miss Bazil’s program following the buffet.
Last year’s event was a success despite the threat of rain with many Lincoln and Cadillac owners bringing their classic cars for show. Fortunately, they got the car show completed, windows closed and convertible tops raised before the rains came. For 2020 we can only hope that Mother Nature will smile with brilliant sunshine on our efforts. Please plan to be there for good food and good fun.
