- Our friends from the Packard Club have invited us to join with them on Sunday Dec 15 to view unique and exotic collector cars at the Collector Car Vault, Santa Paula, CA. This is a reschedule of an event that was planned for November 3rd but canceled due to fires in the area. Here’s an opportunity for an excellent day trip for a special car viewing and social experience! But you must act quickly. Even if you sent your RSVP earlier, please repeat it for the new date.

The Schedule:
10 a.m.- OPTIONAL – Depart Denny’s in Sylmar (12861 Encinitas Ave, Sylmar, CA 91342) to caravan together in to Santa Paula. Denny’s is right off the Roxford exit of I-5 with easy access to return to the freeway. If you want to eat, arrive earlier, we will be leaving for Santa Paula at 10AM sharp.
11 a.m. – Arrive Collector Car Vault (18201 E Telegraph Rd., Santa Paula, CA 93060). The Collector Car Vault will have approximately 120 cars we can view up close, not all cars being stored there will be viewable. We will hear from automotive historian John Nikas, who will deliver an informative presentation tailored to Packards, Hudsons, and other independent makes. After the talk, John will take us on a tour of the facility before we depart for lunch.
12:55 p.m. – Depart for Lunch at Rabalais’ Bistro – 861 E Main St., Santa Paula, CA 93060 at the corner of Davis & Main). Lunch is at your own cost, and due to the size of our group, it’s almost assured we’ll need to be split up throughout the restaurant.
