New Optional Event –McCormick’s Classic Car Auction Kicks Off LCOC Western Region Annual Meeting Weekend

A new optional event has been added to the LCOC Western Region Annual Meeting Weekend calendar—the McCormick’s special interest cars preview and auction. It will be held at the Palm Springs Convention Center Outdoor Event Area, 277 N Avendia Cabelleros, Palm Springs, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. with LCOC teammates at nearby Billy Reed’s restaurant, 1800 N. Palm Canyon Drive.

The Nov. 16 auction and dinner may be the perfect way to begin the weekend for those LCOC members planning to attend the Western Region’s annual meeting on Saturday Nov 17 at the Ron Cressy/Ray Gonzales Car Collection in Yucca Valley. All members of the Western Region are welcome at the auction/dinner and/or the annual meeting.

The auction will run from Friday through Sunday, but is FREE TO SPECTATORS FRIDAY Nov. 16 after 12 p.m. Come preview the exotic cars then adjourn to Billy Reed’s for dinner and stay at the Best Western Joshua Tree Hotel in Yucca Valley, about 45 minutes’ drive away.

McCormick’s is a family owned and operated Classic Car Auction house based in Palm Springs. They produce large Classic Car Auctions there in February and November each year. The auctions are open to the general public and dealers are also welcome. Each event features over 500 classic and exotic cars. The venue is The Palm Springs Convention Centers Outdoor Special Event Area in downtown Palm Springs, just steps away from many resorts, shopping and fine dining. They also have a very busy year-round classic car showroom in the heart of downtown Palm Springs with many classics for sale on a daily basis.
