Dear fellow LCOC Western Region members:
We spoke with former Western Region member George Walker (white with red interior Mark ll) recently. George & Gail’s lovely Ventura home was one of hundreds of homes destroyed in the Thomas Fire. Firefighters managed to save George’s car and motorcycle collection, but all of his memorabilia was lost.
Back in ’07 George chaired an event at a local Lincoln dealership, September 8, to be exact and after the show hosted a buffet at their home. George had photos from the Confab of this event matted and framed, and they graced the walls of his shop/showroom. George asked if anyone might have a spare Confab from September or October, 2007 that he might have to recreate his shop art. If you have such an item, please let me know.
The Walker’s have leased a residence in “The Keys” in Ventura, and storage space for the cars and motorcycles while they rebuild.
