Concern over the covid-19 pandemic has prompted many postponements and cancellations of some of our favorite shows and events. As of this writing the Orange Plaza Car Show that had been planned for April 19 has been postponed with no new date yet announced, and the Floral Park Homes and Garden Tour and Car Show is cancelled until 2021. The Huntington Beach Concours has been postponed from its original dates of June 6 and 7 with no new date yet.
The La Jolla Concours d’Elegance has been moved from Arpil to Sept 19 and 20 and the San Marino Motor Classic was changed from June to August 23 and later cancelled for 2020.
I’ve not yet received word on the status of the Hermosa Beach Endless Summer Classic Car Show or the Muckenthaler Motor Car Festival, but find it hard to imagine that they’ll happen on the original planned.dates. I know this has been a very stressful and worrisome time for most of us, and I’m hoping we can get back to some kind of normalcy in the not too distant future.
Being stuck at home might be a good opportunity to complete some activities that were low priority before because of lack of time.
