New Director’s Message – Active 2023 will Include Event Surprises

As the year comes to a close we can look back on a very successful year for LCOC and the Western Region. We celebrated the 100th anniversary of Ford’s acquisition of the Lincoln Motor Company with wonderful events all year long. The Western National Meet and the Lincoln Homecoming at the Gilmore were the highlights of the year, along with the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Many new members were gained and friends made.

In the coming year we’ll be having some new events along with some old favorites. Each board member will be responsible for hosting at least one event during the year. Our new membership secretary, Scott Balanda, has already put together a meet up in Las Vegas in February. This will be our first event in Nevada in many years, and with Scott’s expertise in organizing events it’s sure to be a good time. There will be more info about this soon.

Now that all LCOC national members within California and Nevada have been inducted into the Western Region I’m hoping for greater participation in our activities. I’ll be putting a renewed effort into making sure that we have some new and exciting activities, and more of them, in places that will be more easily accessible to the majority of members. Don’t forget our new voluntary donation policy in lieu of annual regional dues. We’re excited to offer this huge benefit to our members.

Be sure to visit the website often to make sure you don’t miss anything. It’s going to be a fun year!
