Calling All Lincolns: HB Concours Registration Closes Soon for June 1 & 2 Event

Got a custom Lincoln limo? A Slabside or rarely seen Versailles? A Lincoln Zephyr, Mark VII or Mark VIII? A Town Car? a Lincoln Blackwood truck? Been working hard all winter on your project car? Great!

LCOC wants your Lincoln, Continental,or Zephyr old or new for the 2019 Huntington Beach Concours. But you must hurry; online registration closes May 29 at noon for the Saturday June 1 and Sunday June 2 annual event. Click here to access online registration forms.

On June 1 the Rod and Customs day of the event will be held. If you have added those larger wheels, diamond upholstery, neon headlights, custom audio or other enhancements, this is the perfect opportunity to show your modified and customized Lincoln.

June 2 will feature the Concours D’Elegance for original and restored vehicles.

Virtually any version of the nameplate is eligible for this show, from the earliest Lincolns to late models. Past events have been very popular with LCOC members. Some have made the concours a mini vacation by booking a nearby hotel for the weekend. This year, as in the past, our cars will be displayed in a beautiful and shaded park setting that is ideal for photos and relaxing with friends while enjoying the car show ambiance.  LCOC will provide coffee and donuts for Lincoln exhibitors. For 2019 on Sunday there will be a large contingent of Rolls Royces near our location that will add  to the excitement. Pony cars of all makes will be the featured marque for this year’s show. Imports and domestic cars, motorcycles, vendors and food all will be featured.

Your Lincoln need not be pristine to compete for an award.  Yes, there will be some outstanding examples on view, but street quality vehicles also will be able to compete with their peers for recognition. It is well worth being judged; street and concours class winners receive a $100 bucket of Mother’s car care products in addition to their trophies.

There is something for everyone at Huntington Beach.  If you have a special car that you enjoy sharing with an eager audience but don’t care to have it judged simply register it for exhibit only.

Judged Lincoln classes for Sunday include either concours or street versions of

  • Class 08A 1921-1948 all Lincolns, Continentals and Zephyrs;
  • Class 08B 1949-60 all, including Mark II;
