The Rolls-Royce Owners Club is holding their annual “Fox Hunt” this year on Oct. 24.  It’s one of their most popular events and they’d love to have some beautiful Lincolns and Continentals join in this year.

Of course it’s not a real fox hunt, it’s a scenic drive which this year will take us through some beach cities and end up at a very nice restaurant in Long Beach.  There should be at least two people in the car–one to drive and another to read the narration, keep the driver from getting lost, and answer the quiz about things that they are seeing along the route.  It’s even more fun with 4 people in the car to help find the answers as they drive.

A vintage car is not required but it certainly makes it more fun and people along the tour route love to see the old cars.  We start with coffee and donuts at  9:30 AM in Seal Beach.  The tour begins at 10 AM and we wind our way along the scenic drive to a secret (but very nice) restaurant in Long Beach.  The answer sheets will be tabulated, the correct answers revealed, and winners declared after lunch.   The cost of $65 per person covers all the food and tour materials.  To sing up contact Jim Davidson, xiowaguy@gmail.com who will provide the details and see to it that they get registered.
