Six LCOC members took to the Top of the World to kick off a fantastic weekend of car fun in Sin City with a sunset dinner in Las Vegas’ most famous revolving restaurant at the top of the Strat.
Perched over 100 stories high at a table with a panoramic view of the entire Vegas landscape, the visitors enjoyed gourmet treats ranging from stuffed sole to salmon with broccoli rabe to seafood and cheese and a scrumptious eggplant vegan platter. Host Scott Balanda was joined by fellow Californians Marvin Bautista, Jim Ayres and Elayne Bendel, while locals Lee Craner and Diana Pryor were on hand for the fun. Photos of favorite cars and family took center stage along with a lot of happy talk during the meal.
While the service was impeccable and the food was yummy, the real star of the show was Mother Nature’s sunset light show followed by the glitter of Las Vegas by night. Even an occasional bungee jumper got into the act. Our adventure atop the Strat was definitely a perfect way to celebrate a Friday evening!
