Registration for the Jan. 13 Imperial Club Car Show and BBQ will close on Saturday Jan. 6 and you don’t want to miss out on one of the best and most popular joint car club events of the year! So be sure to register immediately!
This car collector’s paradise event is being hosted by the Southern California Imperial Owners, Inc. (SCIOI) on Saturday, January 13, 2024 – 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The traditional Imperial Club BBQ, Car Show and Social returns for 2024 and we couldn’t be more excited!
Although hosted by the SoCal Imperial Club, you do not have to be a member to participate. All classic vehicles are welcome, and we hope you bring yours for everyone to enjoy. Admission cost is $20.00 each, payable at the event (to cover doughnuts, coffee, water, tables, chairs, etc.) and an additional $20 for the BBQ. This is SoCal Imperial Club’s main fund-raising event, so please come, enjoy, and help support our club.
SCIOI is hosting the MEGA CAR EVENT, in conjunction with Great Autos, LCOC, Cadillac and La Salle Club and AACA in Palm Springs on Valdivia Drive where several Great Autos members have their classic vehicles stored in private garages. All the garages will be open for your viewing pleasure, as well as all the classic cars brought by people attending the event.
Help welcome 2024 at this very popular early January event (previously the BBQ at Marc Hampton’s home) in Palm Springs, where in January the weather is temperate and the chance of rain is slim.
Lunch will be a delicious BBQ meal, catered by our one and only Lynn Hammond. For a separate $20 per person, payable at the event, the tantalizing menu includes a) Burger [Cheeseburger, Hamburger, Veggie burger], b) Condiments, c) Watermelon, d) Baked beans, e) Mac n cheese, f) Green salad, g) Cookies, and h) Drinks.
You will need to RSVP for both—Total cost $40— if you plan to attend, and also have the BBQ lunch.

a) Total # in your group (@ $20/person)
b) Of those, # in your group buying BBQ Lunch (@ an additional $20/person)
c) FIRST AND LAST name(s) of all attending
d) Email address to send the confirmation (in case it’s different than the RSVP request)
e) Car club affiliation
f) The year/make/model car you intend to bring
Stu will reply to your email with the event address confirming your reservation. Please follow-up if you do not receive an email response within 7 days of your RSVP email request.

RSVP is required in advance. The event BBQ will be catered, and we need to provide Lynn Hammond with the total number of people having lunch.
