LCOC Joins with Lincoln Motor Company at 2025 Navigator Debut

The all-new 2025 Navigator, Lincoln’s last word in luxury, debuted for media and the public April 12 at a gala Lincoln and Lattes event. The quaint, upscale community of Rancho Santa Fe, CA was the ideal background for the intro during its weekly cars and coffee gathering.

In a perfect blend of then meets now, a large team led by Lincoln Motor Company President Dianne Craig proudly showed off its newest family member at the historic and elegant Inn at Rancho Santa Fe.

Five new Navigators took center stage in three separate areas on the inn property, one of which joined its siblings in a display of the entire 2025 Lincoln product line—Corsair, Nautilus, Aviator and Navigator.

Five of LCOC members’ Lincolns through the years added ambiance and historic context to the event, demonstrating the luxury Lincoln has embodied for more than 100 years.

The new Navigator is more than worthy to carry its tradition forward into Lincoln’s second century.  Three-row, 8-passenger comfort is the hallmark of this Lincoln flagship.  A top-of-the-line Black Label navigator L model gave media and spectators alike a firsthand peek at unparalleled luxury coupled with technology.

The buttery soft leather upholstery was just the start of the experience.  True to its Sanctuary marketing theme of recent years, the new Navigator truly pampers everyone onboard.

Close the doors and the Navigator cocoons its occupants. The 48-inch panoramic screen spans the entire width of the dash and displays not only operational data, but also can project relaxing images as part of Lincoln’s Rejuvenate feature. One of several examples is a full width waterfall that cascades across the dash in a virtual Niagara. Another option simulates northern lights.  Rejuvenate provides a few moments of full immersion combining soothing images, massaging and reclining seats and a choice of scents.

Second row passengers can enjoy their own adjustable seats, viewing screens and center console, or a bench seat version can be substituted that omits the console, but adds room for another passenger. Even the third row seats are not only extra comfortable, but also recline in a manner similar to first class aircraft seats.

Although the Navigator can’t fly, it is rolling luxury designed to get you moving in the best possible way.  It comes with a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 engine developing 440 horsepower and capable of 0-60 mph acceleration in just 5.3 seconds. If extra hauling is a requirement, the Navigator can tow up to 8,700 lbs with its standard 4-wheel drive and 10-speed automatic transmission with the heavy tow package.

Brand manager Alison Davis said the Navigator is targeted to larger families who need ample room for passengers and gear and want more than just here-to-there travel but are seeking something extra. There is no doubt that the new Navigator delivers. In fact, Lincoln is betting that the new model will help its U.S. sales improve over last year’s results which topped 100,000 units for the first time in several years.

The Lincoln Nautilus already has been named Motor Trend’s 2025 SUV of the Year and the larger Navigator incorporates many of the same features. Buyers can look forward to seeing the 2025 Navigators at their local dealers within the next few weeks.  For those who can’t wait, the Lincoln Website describes the models and features, and enables a “build-your-own” tool for buyers.

In these Jim Ayres photos LCOC’s Lincolns dotted the cars and coffee landscape. The weekly event attracts car buffs from throughout the San Diego area.
