LCOC Members Rewarded for Wins at 2022 Western National Meet Concours

A shiny prize for hours of work and dedication was the culmination of this year’s 2022 LCOC Western National Meet where nearly 70 awards were bestowed on deserving owners at the gala banquet following Saturday’s centerpiece concours.

In all, plaques were awarded to 8 cars in the Touring Division and 41 in the very crowded Primary Division.

Twelve Lincoln Trophies were won by the best entries across several Primary classes, which bumps these vehicles up to Senior or Emeritus status at their next national meet competition.

Four Emeritus and 2 Senior Trophies were awarded to some of the best Lincolns in LCOC. Tony Blaine won the Robert H. Davis trophy for his 1990 Mark VII LSC SE, while Jim Ayres received the Elliston H. Bell Founders Trophy for his 1988 Mark VII Bill Blass, judged the best Senior car in the show.

LCOC newcomer Stephen Fredrick received the award for the Best Touring Lincoln for his 1975 Mark IV, with only 16,000 original miles. Photos of Lincoln Trophy, Senior and Emeritus class winners and their cars will be run in future Lincoln and Continental Comments magazines.

A complete list of all the winning entries courtesy of LCOC Executive V.P. Paul Temple is below. Congratulations to all for a job well done!
