To celebrate the history of both Mercury and Lincoln brands, LCOC is pleased and proud to announce a new event for 2025—a joint car show with the SoCal Cougar Club featuring Mercury Cougars, Comets, Lincolns, AMC & More.
When new Continental Mark IIIs and Lincoln Continental sedans cruised the nation, their Mercury cousins offered a new line of sporty Cougar coupes to prowl the nation’s highways. Over eight generations and a production run of 2.9 million vehicles between 1967 and 2000 the flashy Cougars delighted owners.
The inaugural 1967 models were an instant hit—with over 150,000 sold in three models. By 1969 convertibles were added to the product line and special high performance Cougars offered gear heads some truly remarkable on-track experiences.
Nowadays the SoCal Cougar Club keeps memory of those fun vehicles alive and this year for the first time Lincoln owners are invited to join in the fun at a special show on May 3 at Fullerton Airport.
The event will feature fun, prizes and the ability to socialize with fellow car buffs. A cafe and food trucks will be onsite for all exhibitors.
