May 1 is Final Day to Pre-register for MotorCars on Main Street May 4 at Coronado

LCOC is encouraging and inviting you to register your pre-1980 Lincolns and Marks for one of San Diego’s oldest and best car events—this year’s 36th Annual MotorCars on MainStreet, Sunday May 4, 2025 on Coronado Island. Though pre-registration closes May 1, you can still register beginning at 7 a.m. on the day of the event, space permitting. Best to act quickly, however, and ensure your spot.

LCOC members are pre-staging at 6:30 a.m. at the nearby Marriott Hotel, 2000 2nd Street, Coronado, to enter as a group to proudly wave LCOC’s banner at this show and compete for individual and club awards. Registration fee for car owners is $50.

Those who registered by April 10 are set to receive a free event T-shirt and raffle tickets good for chances to win numerous prizes.

The event is entirely free for spectators, and all are welcome to join in the fun — from vintage cars to state-of-the-art technology, live music, raffles, and more.

If you are planning to attend, please register below, contact Elayne Bendel at epbendel@sbcglobal.net and Marjo Miller at miller.marjo@gmail.com and indicate your interest in a hotel and/or pre-event (Saturday) activities.

MotorCars on MainStreet isn’t just a car show—it’s an experience—an extraordinary celebration of classic and custom automobiles. In 2024 it featured over 400 pre-73 restored classic cars and trucks, live music, commemorative T-shirts, a raffle, and an award ceremony. The streets were filled with a variety of classic, custom, electric, and exotic vehicles, alongside countless car enthusiasts eager to discuss their passion.

This year, MainStreet anticipates an even bigger and better event. This year’s show will feature 1980 and older restored antiques, classics, rods, and custom cars, trucks, and Lowriders for the first time showcasing the craftsmanship, passion, and history that make these vehicles so iconic. The show will run Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Isabella and Orange Avenues.
