As if tire kicking and breakfast at a great historic venue were not enough, host Jim Ayres has added even more fun for LCOC Western Region’s 2026 Kickoff event—a cruise through blocks of historic craftsman homes and tour through scenic rural drives culminating at the colorful Cowboy Canyon Winery located at 16162 Jackson Ranch Road, Silverado, CA 92676.
The cruise takes about 30 minutes from the Streamliner Lounge offering some of the best of SoCal’s scenery and architectural eye candy. Your reward at journey’s end is a unique wine tasting experience. Tucked away in historic Silverado, in the enchanted eastern hills of Orange County, lies one of Southern California’s newest wineries.

Under a restful canopy of giant oak trees and smack dab in the middle of working horse stables, this is a truly special place. All converging with 30 years of award winning wine making excellence and a wine tasting bar with country charm to spare. Cowboy Canyon Winery is a place you won’t want to leave. But when you do, it will be with an armload of wine. 🙂
It seems like weeks away and we know you are hard at work polishing up those classics for the Feb. 15 kickoff; but registration deadline is Feb. 1, so don’t delay signing up for the big event!
Of course we would love to see your collector car, but it is not a requirement to attend.
Advance registration is required. Contact Jim Ayres at jayres01@ca.rr.com no later than Sunday Feb. 1 to let him know what vehicle you will bring and how many in your party
Our Kickoff car show and social is at a wonderful new location—the historic Streamliner Lounge, in Old Town Orange. We cordially invite you, your family and friends to attend this casual event amidst the authentic art deco atmosphere of the Streamliner Lounge. Not only is their menu fantastic, but there is ample free parking at the site for our beautiful classics.

Located adjacent to the active train station, the Streamliner Lounge occupies the 1938-bulit old terminal building, which is now an historic landmark at 186 N Atchison St. , Orange, CA 92866.
Our day will begin with breakfast at 9 a.m. Sunday morning Feb. 15. There will be tire kicking opportunities both before and after food. We’ll have a separate area in the lounge to ourselves. There will be a 20 percent tip added to our individual bills. If paying by credit card a 4 percent charge will be added.
If you are up for even more nostalgia after our main event, joint the cruise or tour historic Orange. The lounge is located in the heart of Old Town Orange, which boasts the largest concentration of craftsman homes of any town in America. And, the Hilbert Museum. Â noted for its extensive collection of “California Scene” artwork from the 1920s – 1970s is just across the street from the lounge.
