The San Diego Automotive Museum is pleased to host an evening with Becky McBride. Come meet and chat with the famed race rat turned NASCAR official on Tuesday July 8 from 5:30 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at the museum, 2080 Pan American Plz, San Diego, CA 92101. Her program is entitled Under the Hood. Join with other car buffs for this private event where you can meet Becky and be regaled with stories from her long career in racing and get insights into NASCAR, its history, and the world of racing today.

A native of San Diego, CA, Becky McBride is a well-known figure in the ARCA West Series, doing a bit of everything. Becky grew up around racing, going to the Cajon Speedway in CA as a little girl to watch her uncle race. She ended up working at the Cajon Speedway for over 20 years before moving over to NASCAR, where she has been ever since.
Becky has held many positions with NASCAR, beginning as scorer all the way to inspector. She has served as an official in all three national NASCAR series during her career.
The West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame was conceived in 2001 as a means of recognizing significant contributors and contributions to the sport of stock car/motorsports competition. The mission of the West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame is founded to preserve history and heritage of the important role west coast stock car and motorsports figures have played in the sport’s development and continuation. The hall also seeks to recognize, through annual enshrinement, of outstanding individuals and groups within the sport such as, but not limited to, designers, engineers, mechanics, drivers, race track owners, promoters, publicists and members of the motorsports media.
Becky joined its Board of Directors in 2023.
