We are excited to invite all LCOC members, family and friends to our Summer Supreme Wine Tasting and Car Museum visit and picnic on Saturday Aug. 29. Join with us to celebrate a fabulous day of tire kicking combined with a delicious lunch and award-winning wines at beautiful Deer Park Winery and Car Museum, 29013 Champagne Blvd., Escondido, CA.
Deer Park features local Estate Wines and the world’s largest Auto Museum of convertibles & Americana. Gift shop, vineyard, orchards, lawns with shady oaks. We’ll arrive at 10 a.m. for a half hour to enjoy our own classic vehicles and at about 10:30 begin touring the the extensive collection in the museum’s three buildings with over 100 cars and so much more to see. History buffs will enjoy an immersive tour down memory lane with vintage TVs, electronics and early and mid-20th century artifacts all part of the fun.
After the tour we’ll sit down and enjoy a catered box lunch and some of Deer Park’s wines in their beautiful shaded picnic area about 12 noon. What better way to celebrate the summer than a cold sweet glass of Sangria or limoncello! Their wines are available by the glass,the bottle, or the flight for tasting.Yum!
Tickets for the museum are available for purchase onsite for $14 adults, military and +60 adults $12, kids 9 and under are free with an accompanying adult.
