Sunshine and Great Food Highlight LCOC Wine Country Picnic and Car Tour

Nearly two dozen LCOC members, family and friends were bathed in sunshine at the annual  “Mike Cunningham” Wine Country Picnic held on Saturday Oct 13 at the beautiful Sebastiani Winery in Sonoma.  The sunny weather encouraged attendees to bring their Lincoln classics and one guest even brought her beautiful pink Thunderbird to join its “big brothers” for some “tire kicking” and driving tour before the picnic. A short 11-mile loop tour of nearby historic Sonoma and the surrounding wine country helped the participants work up an appetite. It was a perfect day for convertibles and several made it to the winery and tour. The beautiful pastel colors of these cars contrasted with today’s more somber vehicles.  A green Mark II, yellow Continental convertible and salmon 1950s-era Lincoln were just a few  of those on hand.
