In past years the HB Concours has served as LCOC’s regional Spring Meet, attracting entries from throughout our vast California/Nevada region. Many of our members have used the show as the centerpeice of a full weekend mini vacation at the beach, culminating with the Sunday show. This year, with the date moved from early June to Aug. 1 and Covid restrictions lifted, a weekend at Surf City (Huntington Beach) might be an even better idea. But if your schedule just allows for the Concours alone, it will still be more than worthwhile.

LCOC has partnered with the Thunderbird clubs to hold their own People’s Choice reciprocal selections with exhibitors from each club voting for their favorite vehicle from the other group. Refreshments also have been provided free of charge by us to our LCOC meet participants.

Over its 35-year history, the Huntington Beach Concours has grown to be one of the outstanding automotive events in Southern California. First staged in 1986, the Concours has its home on the picturesque lawns of Huntington Beach Central Park  at Talbert and Goldenwest. The  field of entrants includes the best domestic, British, European and Asian, vintage to current automobiles and motorcycles. There is truly something for everyone at this event.
