As you may have already guessed, the coronavirus emergency has led to cancelation of our planned visit to the 94th Aero Squadron restaurant in Van Nuys and the nearby Relics Museum on March 28th.
While we were very eager to offer this activity to our members, family and friends, the well-being of our community as a whole has to take precedence.
We are hopeful that when the emergency has passed and things have returned to normal that we can reschedule this event. But at this time there is no new date in mind for planning purposes.
In addition, We have learned that the very popular Orange Plaza car show planned for in and around the Old Orange area on April 19 has been cancelled and the organizers are working with the city to try to find a new date.
Another eagerly awaited southern California event, the Floral Park Home and Garden Tour in Santa Ana, which also features an antique car show, that was scheduled for April 25th and 26th has been cancelled until next year.
La Jolla Concours scheduled for April 17th through 19th has been rescheduled to September 19th and 20th.
The annual Muckenthaler Festival scheduled for May 16 and 17, with the Concours May 17 in Fullerton is under review by organizers for possible cancellation.
Organizers of the Huntington Beach Concours scheduled for the 1st weekend in June are evaluating the situation before making any alterations to their plan.
