The preparation, hustle and bustle are over and now it’s time for friends and family to gather and celebrate holidays that have endured through millenia or represent new tradition. For the first time in years both Christmas and Hanukkah fall on the same day, and whether you are marking the birth of Christ or the victory of the Maccabees and the miracle of temple menorah light lasting eight days, Dec. 25 is a day of special significance. If Kwanzaa is your holiday your festivities begin Dec. 26 and last through New Year’s Day.
With all this celebration, LCOC is pleased to announce some gifts for you to make these joyous occasions even better! For the third straight year, thanks to your generosity this year, LCOC Western Region is again able to operate on donations alone for 2025, with no annual dues required! In the spirit of holiday giving, if you’d like to donate to LCOC click here. Just keep your National LCOC membership up to date and live in CA or NV and you’re automatically a part of the Western Region.
And what a year we have planned!
Our first event for 2025 is an annual favorite—the Imperial Club Barbecue—scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Valdivia Collection in Palm Springs, where classic cars and good friends from several clubs conclave to show off their rides and enjoy good fellowship and great food. You’ll want those beauties shined up and ready to roll for this stellar car show and BBQ!
Next up on our calendar is LCOC’s joint February classic car show and brunch with the SoCal Cadillac & LaSalle Club. Some of the best Lincolns, Marks and Cadillacs from near and far sparkle at this event, sometimes heading in from as far away as La Vegas, Arizona, San Diego, Palm Springs and the San Fernando Valley. For 2025 this kickoff will be held at a new location—Clearman’s North Woods Inn, San Gabriel. And, in the spirit of the holidays, LCOC’s Western Region board has voted to subsidize a substantial portion of the cost.
LCOC members and their guests who attend will receive a $15 subsidy, reducing their total outlay to just $35 per person for the car show and a fantastic plated luncheon at the famed restaurant.

The good times will continue well into March and April where we have some surprises planned.
A couple of LCOC March events are in planning stages and in April, we’ll attend the La Jolla Concours April 25-27, culminating in the fabulous Sunday April 25 car show on the bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean at Ellen Browning Scripps Park. Pre-war Lincolns will be the featurd marque, but later models are welcome in the Post-War American and European Luxury Open and Closed 1947-1965 class. Early birds who purchase tickets before Feb 26, 2025 will receive discounted pricing. Click here for details.
There will be more events announced in the coming weeks and months. Always stay current by checking our Calendar for the latest news. Click here to view it.
