Famous Planes, Classic Cars and Chili Cook-off Event Oct.26 in Palm Springs

The Desert Classic Car Association is sponsoring a great outdoor event Oct 26 at the Palm Springs Air Museum.

LCOC is invited to join with other car clubs and makes to participate in a car show on the site that day in addition to viewing the Air Museum’s collection of vintage war birds and enjoying a chill cook-off. Why not enter your classic Lincoln, Continental or Zephyr in this show?

Grounds will open at 7 a.m. for staging of vehicles with car judging from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The $20 registration cost admits the car into the show and one person into the museum. Passengers and guests are $10 each.

Located at 745 N. Gene Autry Trail, Palm Springs, the museum is dedicated to educating the public about the role air power played in preserving American liberties and way of life. The Museum preserves, exhibits, and flies aircraft from World War II, Korea, and the Vietnam War. Most of their aircraft are in flyable condition.
